ABOUT THE OLGA STRAWBERRY COUNCIL

The Olga Strawberry Council was formed in 2004 when the previous owners of the Artworks Building, artists who used and loved the building, needed help to preserve the unique history and function of this historic site. They looked to community, just as the strawberry farmers had in 1938 to build their Barreling Plant.

Community members responded, forming the non-profit Olga Strawberry Council to acquire and maintain this beloved building, and to ensure its use as a means to support and strengthen the social, cultural, economic and artistic community.
